We bought this play bow for our 4 1/2 year old son for Christmas. Dad is a bow hunter and this toy looks and works just like dad's real bow. The price is very reasonable and you can buy additional foam arrows to go along with the two that came in the package. It's reasonably well put together for a plastic toy and it seems to be holding up well. It took about 1/2 a day for our son to figure out how to operate it... But that was good because it gave us all enough time to duck and take cover! He goes out in the back yard to "practice" almost every day. It's a lot of fun for kids especially if dad or an older brother are "real" bow hunters.
